Oh mate, the evening meal was simply top-notch! A culinary delight that had us raving about each bite. Plus, the bar across the road was a cozy spot to unwind after a long day. Can't forget about the comfy beds that made for a cracker of a sleep!
We did have a spot of bother with the cleaning—or lack thereof! Had to fetch our own toiletries, as staff were only around from 11am. But it’s all good, every cloud has a silver lining, right?

Comfortable beds but check-in chaos
We enjoyed a good night’s sleep thanks to the comfortable beds, but the check-in process was quite chaotic, leaving us waiting 15 minutes as the owner rearranged furniture. It would have been nice to have a quicker access to our room without delays or confusion over the WiFi access. A bit more organization would go a long way here.

Sure, we had a grand time here! The food was simply mighty, proper portions and a mix of classics with some Indian flair. Just a pity no breakfast was served during our stay, but we knew that ahead of time.

Basic room features. Clean towels provided.
Initial heating issues in both rooms. Facilities in need of significant upgrades, including outdated furniture and poorly maintained amenities. Mould and dampness prevalent in rooms, and electrical items appeared overdue for testing. Food cut-off time at 4 PM on Sundays limits options, and the absence of a hairdryer or iron contributed to the inconveniences. Lack of proper lighting around steps resulted in safety concerns during navigation at night.

Couple cozy retreat
A great warm welcome , the owners really made us feel at home. We enjoyed a delightful dinner there, the food was incredibly filling, and I’m telling you, they really know how to serve up a flavorful meal.
It wasn’t exactly cheap , but given the circumstances, it felt fair.

missingWrote a review on Jun 03homemade pieshelpful staffpoor servicenoisy disturbancesoutdated room
The heated debate with the manager regarding our food order put a real damper on the experience, especially after waiting over 45 minutes. While the homemade pies are commendable, the room was outdated with heating issues and noisy disturbances at night. Despite the helpful cleaner who found essentials like a hairdryer and iron for us, the overall experience was lacking due to poor service and inconsistent amenities.
